Payment

Unless previously agreed between IOM Trike Tours Ltd and the customer, a 50% deposit will be required at the time of booking, with the balance payable in cash on the day of your tour.  Please make cheques payable to 'IOM Trike Tours Ltd' and post to our office at 13 Third Avenue, Douglas, Isle of Man IM2 6AL.

If you are visiting our Island on holiday and booking your tour with very little notice, then it may be possible, with prior arrangement to pay the driver in cash at the start of the tour.

The published price is the total price per vehicle.  Please note that each Trike takes two passengers.  There are no reductions if only one person is taking the tour.

Cancellation Policy

If for some reason you have to cancel your tour with us you will not receive a refund.  Our driver had reserved this time for you and he may not have time to organise taking another customer on a tour.  If you have any problems then please talk to us as soon as possible and we will try to arrange another date for your tour, or issue you with a voucher for future use.

If we have to cancel the tour for any reason, we will offer a refund.  However, we are sure it would be preferable to you to rebook for a mutually agreeable time so that you can still experience this most enjoyable ride.

IOM Trike Tours Ltd, the owner, or agent, will not be held responsible for any costs, whatsoever, incurred by the customer(s) or any other party as a result of a cancellation.

Weather

We all know that living in the British Isles means we do not have long sunny days all year round, shame!  Our drivers will still take you on your tour in the rain.  We provide good wet weather clothing & recommend you wear appropriate footwear.  If our driver feels the conditions are unsafe, then we will do our best to rearrange your tour for a mutually acceptable time/day.

Bookings during TT Race & TT Classic (MGP) Race fortnights.

Please be aware that during the fortnights of both the TT and TT Classic (MGP) race events all our tours are booked on a flexible basis.  The racing, volume of visitors and weather can cause delays, disruptions and postponements.  We will always do our best to fulfil your requirements, but ask for your patience in the event of a delay to your tour start time, or in the worst case scenario cancellation of the tour.  Though of course we hope this does not happen. If a race day is moved to the day of your TT Experience Tour, we will offer you an alternative tour.

Detours

Although we have set tours available, on occasions it may be necessary to detour from the original route due to road closures or weather conditions.  We will only do this for the safety of the driver and passengers and hope this will not spoil your enjoyment.  The tour will still last for the same amount of time and may even take longer if the detour is of a longer distance.  No refund will be given if we are unable to take the agreed route due to a detour.

IOM Trike Tours Ltd, the owner, or agent, will not be held responsible for any costs, whatsoever, incurred by the customer(s) or any other party as a result of any detour.

Safety

Our first priority is the safety of our passengers, driver and other road users.  The Trikes are fitted with lap belts and these must be worn at all times.

If, in our opinion, we consider the passengers to be unsuitable for travel for any reason, we reserve the right to cancel the tour with no refund.

We also reserve the right to stop a tour if passenger behaviour becomes unacceptable or dangerous, again no refund will be given.

Personal Items

IOM Trike Tours Ltd, the owner, or agent, will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property/items howsoever caused during the tour.  All belongs should be placed in secure pockets and handbags should be given to the driver to be placed securely in the vehicle storage area.

Clothing

We provide open-faced helmets with a clear visor, jackets, gloves, neck warmers and waterproof clothing, if required.  You should wear sensible footwear and warm clothing, no matter what the weather.  Some areas don't get much sun and it is surprising how cold it can turn.  We suggest you bring your shades (sun glasses).  Not only will you look cool, but if you wish to wear the helmet visor up, then these will help to protect your eyes from any dust.

Age range

There is no upper age limit.  Many grandparents have enjoyed this life enhancing experience and talk about it for days, if someone will listen!  The minimum age for a Trike Tour is 8yrs and a responsible adult must accompany children who are between 8yrs and 14yrs. 

Gift Vouchers

All vouchers are non-refundable and are issued with a 12 month expiry date written on the voucher.  This time period will not be extended for any reason and there is no cash alternative. Vouchers cannot be used towards tours taken during the TT Festival fortnight or the fortnight of the TT Classic Festival (Manx Grand Prix).

Insurance

The vehicles have full insurance for use as Private Hire vehicles and the company have full Public Liability Insurance.

And finally .......

When your booking is agreed, this constitutes a contract between yourself and IOM Trike Tours Ltd that both parties agree to adhere to in accordance with the above terms and conditions.
